pure growth organics is a small, family run business from Jessamine County in the heart of the Bluegrass of central Kentucky. We believe that sustainable gardening practices and organic gardening enhance our lives by helping preserve our natural world in leaving the land that we use healthy and fertile, as well as ourselves and families by providing wholesome food grown with nothing but natural organic nutrients and the sweat from our brow. Organic gardening is good for your land, good for your plants, good for your family and good for you, and we wanted to share a way for anyone to practice sustainable, organic gardening easily and hassle free by sharing our organic fertilizer tea bags. We use all of our products in our own lives whether it be our Alfalfa Tea Bags for the roses, or Basic Flower Tea Bags while our veggies are blooming in the garden, and we stand behind every fertilizer tea bag, organic soil amendment and Compost Tea Brewer we sell.
We also believe in applying those same principles of sustainable gardening to our business. All of our products are packaged by hand; each tea bag, bucket and box has been prepared in our facility without the use of machines. When you receive a product from us, you can rest assured that it has been inspected for quality assurance both in preparation and packaging. We personally use some of every batch that we make on our own gardens and house plants to ensure the highest quality organic nutrients available.
Every product you receive, from the ingredients themselves to the packaging they come in is completely 100% biodegradable or recyclable, and much of the packaging is made from recycled materials. Our box is made of natural Kraft cardboard and is 100% recyclable; the tea bags are made of natural unbleached cotton paper; the label on the box and hang tags on each tea bag are made of 100% post consumer recycled paper and printed with eco-friendly printers which use a fraction of the power and ink of traditional printers; the shipping containers are 100% recyclable boxes from the USPS which have won Cradle to Cradle Certification; the hang tag string is made of 100% natural hemp; the packing popcorn is made of corn starch and is 100% biodegradable by simply putting the popcorn pieces in water and watching them dissolve; the invoice you receive with your order is printed on 100% post-consumer recycled paper, and the leftover tea bag can be composted or simply thrown in the yard with no ill effects (make sure you remove the staple first so that it can be recycled). There is nothing to add to the landfill, and nothing we use contains any toxins, or was produced using any environmentally harmful chemicals or practices.
Though we would love to sell our products globally, because of the substantial carbon footprint involved in shipping internationally, we have opted to sell only in the USA in order to minimize any carbon emissions as a result of shipping our products around the globe.
